All of a twitter.....

Happy Tuesday to you all. The sun is shining but there is a bitter wind. Not complaining though as at least the sun is out.
Hope this post finds you all well and that your not too busy this week on the run up to Easter.
I have a card to share with you this morning, it's an Easter card. My lovely friend bought for me a couple of memory box dies and I had not used them as yet.
So I have used the fence die on this card along with a set of the Marianne dies (LR02068) the ivy, bird and birdhouse set.
Anyway I hope you like, have a great day. Keep warm. Thanks for stopping by.....hugs

Creative Card Crew challenge #32

Good Morning!!!

It's time for another challenge over at the Creative Card Crew challenge blog.
This fortnight our challenge is 'Masculine' and is being sponsored by...

Where you can get all your scrapbooking, papercraft, sewing, knitting and many other supplies from. Why not pop over to their website and take a look around.

I have to admit, I am not the most creative person when it comes to making masculine cards. I think that's because I love everything 'girly'. I really struggled when it came to my husbands Brian's 50th in February as I couldn't think what to make for him. Eventually I made him a card and although I wasn't overwhelmed with it, he was, bless him. Needless to say he is easily pleased.

Anyway onto the card I have used as inspiration for the challenge.
I have used the Autumn Days stamp set from Stampin Up! which is sadly retired now. I am so glad I have it though as I think it lends itself perfectly to a 'mans' card.

  So here it is...

I have used SU cardstock, early espresso, crumbcake and very vanilla and my SU markers in old olive, cherry cobbler, cajun craze, early espresso and more mustard to colour the pheasant, leaves and grasses. Also used the tiny tags stamp set and punch for the sentiment. 3D'd some of the leaves for dimension and to finish off used a ribbler to ribble a piece of sahara sand card stock for the bottom half of the card.

Hope you like it!!!
Why not enter the challenge yourself.
Have fun and good luck!!!

Hugs

Birdhouse Treat Box

Happy weekend everyone!!!

Are you all well? I really wish now that spring would come. I remember March last year was quite warm for us, let's hope it may happen again. Would be lovely to have some sunshine. I really think the sun lifts our mood.

I just wanted to share this little birdhouse treat box with you that I made this evening. I saw a tutorial of it on YouTube and decided to try and make one.......and this is the result.

It's super cute and great for Easter treats. I am going to fill mine with Mini Eggs.

I am watching old comedies while I am busy crafting away in my craft room. They certainly don't make the programmes like they used to. Only when I laugh is on at the mo, classic comedy and very funny. Enjoy your evening!!!

Thanks for stopping by, hugs Lou. Xx

A bit more Gorjuss-ness

Good evening to you all.

What a night it is. Gale force winds here, had several snow blizzards today too. It's been so cold.
I have been warm and cosy up here in my craft room busying away. I have made another card using one of my Gorjuss stamps. Used my copics to colour the image.
I have also been making some little Easter treats which you can see over at my SU! Blog. Well I will say goodnight to you all, will be back again soon.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges.
Challenge #157 "Punch it"
Challenge #173 "All stitched up"
Monthly challenge-March-"Girly"

Easel card.

Well it's Thursday already and I have another card to share with you. Are you all having a good week? We will soon be at the weekend again.
This Sunday is Mother's Day I will be spending the day with my sister, she is coming over for lunch with her husband. Sadly, our mum passed away some years ago so we haven't got her with us to spoil and pamper but we will be thinking of her as always.
Also on Sunday the 'Mid Lent Fair' comes into Stamford for its annual visit. Very exciting!!! Stamford is a stunning old town to stroll around but with the smell of hot dogs, burgers and onions and not to forget cotton candy in the air it makes it even better.
The card I've made is an easel card, I have used a Gorjuss girl stamp, I just think they are gorgeous. Love em!!! Hope you like.
Well best get ready, going off to see the crafting ladies this morning. Have a good day and thanks for stopping by. Hugs, Lou. Xxxx

Creative Card Crew challenge #31

Hello, I hope this post finds you all well.
It's time for another fortnightly challenge over at the Creative Card Crew blog.

This fortnight our challenge is.........Ribbon.

This challenge is being sponsored by

I have used a Delicious Doodles image on the card I have made for the challenge, the image is called 'Poppy'.

I love this image, it was lovely to colour in using my Copics. As the challenge is ribbon and I am not the best at making bows (even with using bunny technique lol). I used my ribbon to make a flower, just twisted and rolled it around to get the shape and then placed it at the side of the image. I chose brown/beige cardstock/paper as my colours and did some matting and layering. Even managed to get in a little faux stitching around the edge of the image. I used some accent pearls to finish the card off.

I hope you like.
Why not pop on over to our blog and enter the challenge.

Good luck and enjoy!!!
