Good Morning!!!
This fortnight our challenge is 'Masculine' and is being sponsored by...
Where you can get all your scrapbooking, papercraft, sewing, knitting and many other supplies from. Why not pop over to their website and take a look around.
I have to admit, I am not the most creative person when it comes to making masculine cards. I think that's because I love everything 'girly'. I really struggled when it came to my husbands Brian's 50th in February as I couldn't think what to make for him. Eventually I made him a card and although I wasn't overwhelmed with it, he was, bless him. Needless to say he is easily pleased.
Anyway onto the card I have used as inspiration for the challenge.
I have used the Autumn Days stamp set from Stampin Up! which is sadly retired now. I am so glad I have it though as I think it lends itself perfectly to a 'mans' card.
So here it is...
I have used SU cardstock, early espresso, crumbcake and very vanilla and my SU markers in old olive, cherry cobbler, cajun craze, early espresso and more mustard to colour the pheasant, leaves and grasses. Also used the tiny tags stamp set and punch for the sentiment. 3D'd some of the leaves for dimension and to finish off used a ribbler to ribble a piece of sahara sand card stock for the bottom half of the card.
Hope you like it!!!
Why not enter the challenge yourself.
Have fun and good luck!!!
Hugs
