Our new arrival........Molly

Hi There,

Well no cards to upload this time as I have been rather busy, firstly hope your all well and enjoying this lovely weather. Talks of being a nice weekend too, so fingers crossed. We not had our BBQ out yet this year, so it may get an airing this weekend, hopefully.

Just wanted to tell you about our new addition, she is Molly a 10 week old puppy. She is adorable, and our other dog Butch is so good with her, she cuddles up to him when she is worn out. I forgot what hard work it is having a puppy in the house, you need eyes in the back of your head. Lol. Never the less, she is a good little girl. Will upload a couple of pics to show you. Anyway hope to get a couple of cards made this week, between the puppy training and everything else, ha. Love to you all, Lou. X

Trudie's 13th birthday

Hi to you all,

Goodness me, where has this week gone??? It's flown by. Hope your all ok. At least the sun managed to make an appearance today. It was lovely this afternoon. Let's hope it's nice for the weekend. Well not long now till our hols, 6 weeks tomorrow, we are going to Cornwall. I have never been before, I am really looking forward to it.
I have titled this post Trudie's 13th birthday, this is the card I have made for our friends daughter Trudie. They live in Cheshire, we met them 10 years ago in Spain and have kept in touch with them ever since. I had a trip over to Sir Stampalot and bought a set of the Greeting Farm stamps, I think they are great and just right for a teenager's card. I have got a 60th card to make now, so must go and get on with that.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend. Thanks for stopping by to look. Love Lou. X x x x

Birthday card for Olivia.

Hi to you all, I can't believe a week has gone by since I last posted on my blog. Hope everyone is ok and that you all had a great weekend. We went to Ferry Meadows for the night on Saturday, our friends took their motor home and asked us to join them, it was lovely and we had a BBQ, we slept in the gazebo, which seemed like a good idea at the time as it was such a lovely day on Saturday, until the thunder and lightning started. As if that wasn't bad enough the police helicopter was circling above with it's search light on for over an hour, of course by then I was convinced we were either going to get struck by lightning ( as gazebo was under some tall trees ) or whoever was on the loose that the police were looking for, might end up in our gazebo. Needless to say I didn't sleep much, Brian would of if I had stopped whittling. Ha, bless him.

Anyway back to the card I have made, it is for my friends daughter, Olivia, she is going to be 11 tomorrow, so thought I would make her a bookmark card as she loves reading, have made a little pocket on the inside so we can either pop a gift card in or some money. Hope you like it, thanks for stopping by. Love Lou. X

A Speed Recovery

Good evening,

I hope this post finds you all well and that you have all enjoyed the bank holiday weekend. We were at home for the bank holiday, we enjoyed it all the same though. I did manage to pop over to Sir Stampalot to treat myself to some goodies.

One of my treats was the Martha Stewart loop corner punch, I got the loop border punch the other week. So will be using those in my up and coming projects. I am quite into the acrylic dabbers to at the moment, I got the gold metallic one, can't wait to use some of that on my cards.

Anyway this card is one I made for my Sister's mother-in-law bless her, she has just been in hospital to have her cataracts done, so thought I would send her a card to wish her a 'speedy recovery'. I used my new Tim Holtz alterations die, it's brilliant, I love it.

Well I will say goodnight to you all now, hope to add a few more cards and posts over the next few days. Thanks for stopping by, Lou. X
