Thinking Of You........

That is exactly what I have been doing, thinking of you all. Wondering what you have all been up to. Hopefully this post will find you all well and enjoying the "summer" we are having. We are going on our holidays to Cornwall in 2 weeks time, so we are very much looking forward to that.

Sorry not posted anything lately, I haven't been in my craft room for a while. I made this card this evening, it is the Hero Arts Hydrangea stamp and I have fallen in love with it. As usual lovely to be back blogging. Hugs to you all. Lou. x x x x

Good evening to you all, Just a quick post this evening to
show you this card I made today for my friends birthday.

I have used Pink Petticoat papers, I am so in love with their papers at the moment, and have used their sewing machine digital stamp. My friend is a patchworker and teaches patchwork, so thought this card was very apt for her.

A Few More....

Goodness it's March already, really not sure where the time goes. I heard on the radio today that it's officially Spring in 3 weeks time. Hooooray!!!! Something to look forward to, lighter nights and mornings and little warmer weather, hopefully will cheer me up.

It was lovely to see and catch up with the lovely crafting ladies at Sir Stampalot on Saturday, Chris was making some lovely things as always.

I have recently purchased some digital stamps, I had never used them before, so printed them off and was pleased with them. Will upload a couple of cards I have made. Hope this post finds you all well. Happy March to you all. Thanks for stopping by. Lou. X

Spring is coming..... (soon I hope).

Good evening to you, hope your all OK. Not updated my blog for a few weeks as had quite alot going on, not been so well either. So just thought I would sit quietly now and blog away.

Well the reason for the title of this post is that there seems to be signs that spring is on it's way, snowdrops, trees budding and my friend said that she saw some lambs in the fields. so that's a hopeful sight that better weather is on it's way.

I had a night of crafting last night, made several cards which i have uploaded for you to see. Thanks for dropping by. Lou. X

Happy New Year (even though it's nearly Feb)

Hello to you all, and Happy new year. So sorry it is rather late. Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and new year. It was soon upon us but then soon over with. There was so much illness about, coughs, colds, flu etc. I think there is a bit of a lull then after all the decks are down and put away. Can't believe we are nearly into February already. Must get making Brian's (my husband) birthday card made as it's his birthday in Feb.

Had a trip over to Sir Stampalot a few weeks ago, I got the new Magnolia magazine and there was a tissue box project in it, which I had a try at. Was so pleased with the outcome......eventually. There seemed to be an error in the measurements that were printed in the magazine. They were 30x19 for the cardstock, but the side tabs to close the box weren't right, so I had to have a play and adjust the measurements myself.

The actual measurement is 30x21 in case any of you have had the same problem. please let me know if you did have the same problem, as I thought it was me when I was trying to make it. Lol. Anyway good to be back blogging and crafting, thanks for stopping by. Love and hugs, Lou. X

A Blooming Christmas......

Good evening to you, are you all ok? Just a quick post this evening as I wanted to show you this Christmas card I have made. It's a step card and I have used all Molly Bloom stamps on it, oh apart from the snowman (he is from Art Impressions). They all go so well together though I think.
